About This Speaker

Karl Mecklenburg appeared in six Pro Bowls and three Super Bowls in his twelve year NFL career with the Denver Broncos.  Widely recognized as the NFL’s most versatile defender Mecklenburg played all seven defensive front positions, often in the course of a single game. 

As an author and speaker, Karl shares the six keys to success that propelled him from a high school junior varsity player and a college walk-on, to an NFL captain and perennial All Pro.  Mecklenburg doesn’t use a power point.  He is a gifted story teller whose stories of football and family entertain your people as well as remind them that they control their own futures.  His audiences laugh and leave the meeting knowing that the best way to be successful is as a team.  Karl’s message of universal, unchanging principles is timely as we all get back to the basics in this tough economy.
